Answer: After participating in the APS course, participants will receive a free chance to earn the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification. This is a globally recognized certification backed by Scrum.org. The certification exam consists of 80 questions, and participants have 60 minutes to complete the exam.
A passing score of 85% is required to achieve the PSM certification. The exam is online only, so there is no need to go to a testing center. The format for the PSM certification exam is multiple choice with a few true/false questions.
Will participants receive a certification?
It can benefit a team to undergo this training together, even if some team members are more experienced in Scrum than others. This training allows participants to level set and have a shared understanding of the Scrum framework. Even those experienced in Scrum can gain critical insights from the APS course.
I want my team to go through this together, but some team members already have Scrum experience. Should they take part in APS?
If you take the PSM exam within 14 days of completing the APS course and don’t pass, you will get a second try for free. In addition, you may purchase additional retakes for an additional fee.
What if I don’t pass the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification exam?
There are no prerequisites for taking the APS class.
What are the prerequisites for taking the APS class?
The APS course from Scrum.org is usually two days, each with approximately eight hours of instruction. Rebel Scrum offers additional options for private classes, including a third day of test preparation activities.
