Service Description
Half-day classes offer greater flexibility! This class is scheduled for Monday - Thursday, June 23-26, from 10 AM - 2 PM CST, with a half-hour break for lunch. This is a remote training provided via Zoom. Discussion is welcome throughout the class. The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the Scrum framework's mechanics, rules, and roles. Professional Scrum Master is THE cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and anyone supporting a software development team's efficiency and effectiveness. The Professional Scrum Master course is not an introductory course and is designed for those with some experience using and applying the Scrum framework. For an introduction to the Scrum Framework, we encourage you to sign up for the Applying Professional Scrum class. What's Included: - 4 half-days of instruction - 1 free attempt to earn your PSM I certification - Course Workbook - Access to full slide deck and complementary materials used during the course - 40% discount on an attempt to earn your PSM II certification PSM I Certification: After completing the course, you will receive an exam code from Scrum.org for taking the PSM 1 exam. You will receive the code within 48 hours. There are no extra costs involved and the code has no expiration date. Experience shows that participants score best when taking the exam within a week after completing the course. Your exam code is valid once. If you take the exam within 14 days after completing the course, and unfortunately do not pass the 85%, Scrum.org will offer you a one-time free re-try. Please note that you will not receive this gift if you take a exam 14 days after participation, these costs will be yours. PMI PDU Credits Students of Scrum.org courses are able to claim Project Management Institute (PMI) PDU credit: 14 PDUs after attending a two-day Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) workshop. Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment. Students can claim PDUs under PMI's "Education courses provided by other third-party providers” category. You can claim your PDUs online at https://ccrs.pmi.org. This class is being delivered by Mary Iqbal of Rebel Scrum. Rebel Scrum is the host of the annual Scrum Day conference in Madison, Wisconsin. Get tickets at www.ScrumDay.org.
